  Affirmations / Afirmaciones

Giving birth is considered as the greatest event in life by most women and rightly so.
As we know, the mind rules the body. Our present life is the product of our most frequent thoughts in the past. As the unborn child is fed physically and MENTALLY by the pregnant mother, her thoughts during pregnancy are of utmost importance for the child’s future.
It is very easy to mould the child’s life if the mother generates and holds proper thoughts in her mind during the period of pregnancy. Not only that, the entire process of pregnancy and the event of giving birth also becomes pleasant and bother free if the mind, by way of thoughts, trains the body.

The following birth affirmations cater to both-the period of pregnancy as well as the event of giving birth. Select one or more affirmations that you feel suitable and repeat them the whole day whenever you find time. Your mind should be saturated with the affirmations. These thoughts can then be transferred to the cells of the body and consequently to the baby. It is a gift that a mother can give to her child.

How to Repeat Affirmations:
For affirmations to be effective and really change us from the inside, they have to be assimilated in the mind. It is best to repeat the affirmations for the whole day.
If you have chosen only a few (one, two or three) affirmations, you can repeat each affirmation as many times as you can daily. You can start using them from the day you discover that you are pregnant. Happy Birthing!!!

There is peace everywhere and all is well.
My pregnant body is beautiful. I radiate beauty and serenity.
Keep breathing slow and even. Inhale peace, exhale tension.
I relax my mind and muscles.
I take proper care of my body. It gets all the love and nutrition that it requires.
I am enjoying my pregnancy.
My baby understands me. All my thoughts and actions are oriented toward my baby.
I breathe slowly and deeply. It helps my body and mind to relax.
The power and intensity of my contractions cannot be stronger than me, because it is me.
My job is to simply relax and allow the birth to happen.
I am ready and prepared for childbirth.
My body has a wide open space for my baby to descend.
My body is indeed beautifully and wonderfully made.
300,000 women will be giving birth with you today. Relax and breathe and do nothing else. Labor is hard work and you can do it.
The experience of labor and birth is a great gift.
I will breathe slowly and deeply to relax my muscles and bring oxygen to our baby.
This is what my body was designed to do.
Relax, breathe, open.
My body is opening wide to let my baby out.
My body is not broken. I can do this.
Soon I will meet you, baby.
I am a strong, beautiful woman. I accept myself completely, here and now.
I am completely relaxed and comfortable.
I am doing this exactly right and exactly as nature intended.
My body knows what to do. I will surrender fully and completely.
Ride the wave [of the contraction].
I trust my body to birth my baby. The delivery of my baby is smooth and easy. We both have enjoyed the birthing process.
My baby is born at the right time. It is fully grown and healthy.
As my contractions start, I feel calmness and peace. I am ready to welcome my baby.
My baby is happy and healthy.
I am completely cooperating with my body.
My courage and patience will send my baby into my arms.
My body is made to give birth, nice and easy.
I believe my baby’s birth will come quickly and easily.
My body is completely relaxed.
